Mr. Zanelotti is a Maryland native, is married with two adult children and lives in both the Maryland suburbs and the Eastern shore. 

John earned his law degree from the University of Baltimore Law Shool in 1981, after attending the University of Maryland, College Park, where he received a B.A. in political science  He has practised exclusively in the field of personal injury, workers compensation, medical/hospital negligence, serious motor vehicle and truck accidents and other areas of the field.  He became a partner in one of the largest personal injury practices in the D.C. metro area before establishing the Law Offices of John P. Zanelotti, P.C. in 2002, out of a desire of providing personal attention to accident victims and their families.  The present practice is dedicated exclusively to representing injured persons and their families in the areas of workers' compensation, medical and hospital malpractice, automobile, truck, bus, pedestrian, motorcycle and pedestrian accidents. He has successfully tried personal injury and workers compensation cases in many of the Circuit Courts in the State of Maryland and enjoys the respect of defense counsel who represent the insurance companies and their insureds.

He is admitted to practice in state and federal trial and appellate courts in Maryland and the District of Columbia.  He has been a member of Prince George's and Calvert County Bar Associations and was a Member of the Board of Directors, Prince George's County Bar, 2000-2001.
